Privacy Policy

Mini Atelier Inc. (“Mini Atelier”) is committed to protecting the personal information of children, parents, caregivers, and other individuals who participate in or interact with Mini Atelier programs and services. This Privacy Policy describes how Mini Atelier collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information.

  1. Information Collected. In connection with the Program, Mini Atelier may collect personal information about the Client, the Child, and Authorized Adults, including names, contact information, the Child’s age, emergency contact information, allergy and medical information relevant to safe participation, attendance records, and, where consented to, photographs and videos.

  2. Payment Information. Payment information is processed by Mini Atelier’s third-party payment processor, Stripe. Mini Atelier does not itself store full payment card numbers.

  3. Purposes for Collection and Use. Mini Atelier collects and uses personal information to: register and administer the Client’s and Child’s participation in the Program; process payment of Fees; communicate with the Client about the Program, including scheduling, cancellations and Policies; support the Child’s health and safety during Program sessions, including responding to emergencies; and, where separately consented to, for marketing purposes where you have provided consent.

  4. Disclosure to Third Parties. Mini Atelier may disclose personal information to: Stripe, for payment processing; DocuSign, for the electronic execution of the Program Agreement and Mini Atelier Policies; the operators of venues at which Program sessions are delivered, limited to information reasonably required for attendance, occupancy, and safety purposes; and other service providers who support Mini Atelier’s scheduling, communication, and administrative operations.

  5. Cross-Border Storage. Stripe and DocuSign may store or process personal information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction, including lawful access by its courts, law enforcement, or government authorities.

  6. Storage and Protection. Mini Atelier takes reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or loss.

  7. Retention. Mini Atelier retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to meet applicable legal, insurance, accounting, and administrative requirements, after which it will be securely destroyed or anonymized. Payment information is retained by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s own retention practices.

  8. Access and Correction. The Client may request access to, or correction of, personal information held by Mini Atelier about the Client, the Child, or an Authorized Adult by contacting Mini Atelier at admissions@miniatelier.ca.

  9. Consent. By providing personal information to Mini Atelier, you consent to its collection, use, and disclosure as described in this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required for a specific purpose, such as photography, video, or marketing communications, Mini Atelier will obtain that consent separately.

SMS Messaging Terms

1. The Mini Atelier messaging program consists of general conversational messaging to answer questions, provide support, share session updates, communicate program-related information to enrolled families, and occasionally send announcements about programs, events, and offers.

2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text STOP to the number from which you received messages. You will receive a confirmation, and no further messages will be sent.

3. For assistance, text HELP or write to admissions@miniatelier.ca.

4. Message frequency varies based on program activity.

5. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

6. Mobile opt-in and consent are not shared with third parties for any purpose.
